Cafe Review: Tamed Fox, Taipei

Tired of milk tea and street foods in Taipei? Oh well, you might be interested in this minimalist-style coffee shop which is just a few minutes’ walk from Xinyi Anhe Station. Tamed Fox, to which its name is inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s Little Prince, is a health-conscious café which is run by a dietician that offers a variety of food for your hungry souls – coffee, tea, donuts, cakes, salads, and other light meals.

Once you arrived in the place, you’ll be fascinated by the set-up outside the shop which serves as a perfect backdrop for your IG photos. While the interior creates a relaxing and calm atmosphere with its white-painted wall and modern wood furniture. This is definitely a perfect place to unwind and just enjoy the food.

Aside from the beauty of the place, Tamed Fox is also known for its donut designed on top of your coffee-to-go. You can order it from the menu separately and design it your way.

Yes, we cannot deny that the foods here are quite pricey. But it is very rare to see a shop that serves good food with some good ingredients for a balanced diet. All the hand-made foods served are with low sugar and fat content.
